The Jr Academy Females are U13 Girls Division Champions in the Golden Boy Tournament. They won 2-1 against their hometown rivals. Well done ladies!

Exciting times!! Recently, our incredible players took part in the North Alliance Rush Select (NARS) tryouts, and they absolutely crushed it! NARS is where four top-tier Rush clubs—Superior Rush FC, Twin Cities Rush, United Rush, and Wisconsin West Rush—join forces, representing the best of the Midwest Region. This collaboration is all about giving our talented players the chance to shine on bigger stages and compete in the National Academy League within their age groups. Superior Rush FC is thrilled to announce the following girls have been selected: 2010 Girls: Emily Gregoruk, Milla Goodman, Julia Fratpietro, Sienna Gatto 2009 Girls: Claudia Galle, Alia Scarcello 2008 Girls: Mikalah Pasqualino, Olivia Fratpietro We’re so proud of you! 

Congratulations goes out to our Jr. Academy Females on winning the Midwest Rush Cup in Chicago this past weekend! The girls played some incredible soccer that caught the eye of a number of coaches, spectators and organizers, and finished the weekend with an undefeated record, beating Chicago Rush in the final in a 9 goal thriller that saw Claudia Galle score the game winning goal with 2 minutes left in the match! Special thanks goes out to the 2 guest players from Missouri Rush and 2 from United Rush who fit right in with the girls both on and off the field! The girls will now wait to see who gets selected to the 2009 and 2008 Rush National Select teams that will travel to the Visit Raleigh Showcase in December in one of the largest College Showcases in North America. This past weekend, the Academy Males competed in the Tonka Splash tournament in Minnetonka, Minnesota. The Academy Males are a team ranging from 13 years old all the way to 18 years old, with only 4 players being 18 years old. Knowing that this would be their last year to compete at tournaments, we wanted to give them a proper send off by competing one last time in a tournament, which meant that we had to play in the u19 age group. Despite most of our players being under 16, they were up for the challenge as they did not concede a goal in the group stage of the tournament recording 2 wins and a draw, which qualified them for the finals. Their fight to compete with teams who were much stronger and faster than them, gave them the opportunity to compete with a very strong Wisconsin West Rush team who also did not concede a goal in the group stage. Matthew Start scored at the start of the second half to put them ahead, unfortunately Wisconsin West Rush scored midway through the second half which resulted the game to end 1-1 in regular time. This game went straight to penalty shots with the the Academy Males coming up short. The boys showed great effort and determination to create success in this age group.
