Superior Rush FC is extremely proud to announce that Aidan Neagu, Kai Cameron, Claudia Galle, Milla Goodman and Jorja Gallant have been selected to the Rush Select National Program for their respective age groups. The players will play in the President's Day Showcase February 16-19 in Phoenix, Arizona. Moreover, as one of the top 32 players in North America for their age group, Kai will also have the opportunity to travel to England as part of the Rush International Program. This makes a total of 5 players to be selected from our Club as part of the highest level in the Rush Soccer player development pyramid. Superior Rush FC is thrilled to share the news that Matthew Start, a student at Hammarskjold High School, has made a commitment to Laurentian University in Sudbury, ON, where he will join the Voyageurs varsity soccer team this coming September. Additionally, Matthew has been accepted into the Concurrent Education Program, specializing in Kinesiology. Rush Select Regional Teams Selections. Regional Select players have the exclusive opportunity to showcase their skills at the highly anticipated International Rush Cup. This is Rush Soccer's most elite event. As part of the Rush Cup and Showcase Series, the International Rush Cup brings together some of the best and most unique teams from around the world. Over a span of four days, players engage in fierce competition while being closely evaluated by the distinguished Rush Select National Staff and College Coaches. The International Rush Cup serves as an excellent platform for elite Rush players to compete at a very high level, and potentially gain recognition for higher-level playing prospects. National Teams Selections These players have been identified as some of Rush Soccer's most elite players within North America and will be participating in the International Rush Cup in Florida, as well as the President's Day Showcase in Arizona. This program is specifically designed to offer personalized attention to Rush Soccer's top athletes, empowering them to realize their dreams of becoming professional athletes or excelling at the highest collegiate level. Superior Rush FC will be conducting competitive evaluations for all existing and new players. The competitive evaluations will be held at Fort William Stadium. The sessions are being held by age group, each age group will have two sessions. These are not the final teams. Once all sessions have been held the coaches will evaluate the players and place them on teams. Once this has been finalized, the selected players will receive a email informing each player of their specific time for the pre-season information meeting on October 1st, 2023.
